The original Bunny Village website was set up as part of the village celebrations for the Millennium; funded by a grant provided by the Millennium 'Awards for All' Lottery grant awarded to the Bunny Millennium History Group.
The history group was founded in 1999 with the aim of updating the pamphlet, "The History of Bunny and Bradmore" written by Miss Mary Hill, a former schoolteacher in Bunny. It quickly became obvious that we would have enough material for a larger publication so we applied for a grant to enable us to record and display our findings in as wide a means as possible. This meant that as well as a book and exhibition (held in the summer of 2000), we were able to turn to modern technology and use the World Wide Web.
At present most of the material will be of interest to genealogists and historians. We will be adding information such as Census Returns, Births, Marriages and Burials, to help those researching their family trees.

The book "Bunny - Images of the Past" is now available, price £8.00 plus postage and packing (and currency exchange charges in the case of overseas orders). It is an A4 size book, with 132 pages, and plenty of illustrations covering the history of Bunny from Roman to present times. The book can also be bought locally from the filling station on Loughborough Road.
