Latest COVID-19 Position for Nottinghamshire

More than 603 people have tested positive for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours across Nottinghamshire.

It comes after a total of 1,141 cases were confirmed in both the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire [1] for Thursday, January 28 and Friday, January 29. The largest increase was recorded in Nottingham, where 193 cases were confirmed over 24 hours.

The reproduction number, or R value, of coronavirus transmission across the UK is between 0.7 to 1.1, according to the latest Government figures.

2021 Parish Council Meetings

Dates of meetings of the parish council for 2021 have been arranged and are as follows:

January 21,  February 18,  March 18, April 15,  May 01,   June 17,  July 15, September 16,   October 21,   November 18

The Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Thursday May 20

The meeting dates are subject to change, according to the national situation requirements.

Volunteer Snow Warden

Notts County Council are looking for a Volunteer Snow Warden for the village and are inviting expressions of interest in the post from any resident living in the parish.
The county have run the scheme for some years and it is their intention to continue with the scheme this winter
