Bunny parish council has a vacancy following the resignation of John Berridge, and are seeking nominations for the spare place so as  to make up their numbers to the permitted nine membership.    Meetings of the council on the whole are held in the village hall once a month and last no more than two hours.

The council are supporting an effort by the National Association of Local Councils (NALC )  to encourage young people (from the age of 18) to take up a seat and would welcome an expression of interest from such a person.   Anyone standing for co-option has to live in the village and be on the electoral roll,  or live within three miles of it, or own  property in the parish or work in it.

Clerk Mike Elliott would be pleased to hear from anyone interested and asks that they submit around 100 words on themselves to him at 19 Main Street, Keyworth, NG12 5AA or by email at   clerk@bunny.parish.email
